Coal Tar Shampoo is used to manage itchy, and/or oily skin conditions of the head and scalp such as psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and dandruff. Coal tar appears to have some anti-inflammatory properties, reducing itch and helps to remove scales that are associated with psoriasis. It may also slow down the growth of skin cells.
Ingredients: Coal Tar Solution, Aqua (Water), Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamide DEA, Glycol Distearate, Cocamide MEA, Laureth-10.
Directions for Use: Wet hair and scalp thoroughly, apply shampoo and massage well into scalp and hair. Leave for 3 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Test a small amount on the forearm before use to observe for any skin reactions. If accidental eye contact, rinse with water for at least 10 minutes.
